Tools > 3D Features > Create Polygon Objects converts existing 3D Features to new polygon objects in the Model Manager.
Features group - lists the one or more 3D Features on the object that will be converted to polygons when you press Apply.
Filter dropdown (All, Plane, Cone, Cylinder, and Sphere) - limits the members of the list to the 3D Features of a given type.
List of 3D Features - Click one, Ctrl-Click two or more, or Shift-Click several names. The highlighted 3D Feature(s) will be converted to polygons when you press Apply. Each individual 3D Feature will generate a separate polygon object in the Model Manager.
Parameters group -
Max. Edge Length decimal field - specifies the longest allowable edge of any single triangle in the resulting polygon object.
Max. Deviation decimal field - specifies the largest allowable difference between the longest side and the shortest side of any single triangle in the resulting polygon object.
Estimate group - presents statistical estimates of the resulting polygon object.
Triangles - indicates the number of triangles (polygons) that will exist in the resulting polygon object.
OK button - creates the polygon object(s) in the Model Manager and closes the dialog.
Cancel button - removes any just-created polygon objects from the Model Manager and terminates the dialog.
Apply button - creates the polygon object(s) in the Model Manager and leaves the dialog open.
