Fit to Plane

Polygons > Primitives > Fit to Plane moves a selected set of polygons until they strike a user-specified plane, and stretches one band of surround­ing triangles to form a wall along the projection path.

The difference between this function and Polygons > Primitives > Project Region is that this function expects the user to place the plane during the dialog, and Project Region expects the Plane to be an existing object in the Model Manager.
