Polygons > Deform Region causes selected triangles to bulge or sink from the original surface.
Selection field - controls the radius of a generally round region whose center is the point you clicked on the surface.
Ellipse field - is a ratio of the region’s length to width; this changes a generally round region to an elliptical one.
Shape field (0.0 to 100.0) - specifies the degree to which surrounding triangles are allowed to bulge with the centerpoint.
Distance field - specifies the positive or negative distance that the centerpoint of the selected region is allowed to bulge.
Next Region button - applies the parameters to the region that is being deformed and prepares the dialog for a new centerpoint to be chosen.
OK button - replaces the original object in the Model Manager with the deformed object.
Cancel button - restores all deformations that were performed since the function started, and closes the dialog.
Reset button - restores the region that is being deformed and prepares the dialog for a new centerpoint to be chosen
