Points > Merge Point Objects creates a single point object from two or more. The result of this function is permanent -- source objects are removed from the Model Manager and a new one is created.
The controls are:
Name - (default Merged Points N) specifies the name of the resulting merged object.
Create Clusters checkbox - specifies that the originally selected point objects will be listed in the Model Manager as components of the merged object, to remind the user the sources of this merged object. To see the components individually, right-click a cluster name in the Model Manager and choose “Select” on the right-click menu. (To restore clusters to object status, select one or more clusters and use Edit > Selection to Object.)
Double Precision checkbox - specifies that
OK button - saves the new point object to the Model Manager and closes the dialog.
Cancel button - closes the dialog without saving the new point object.
