Points > Interpolate Scanlines (applicable to unordered point objects that have scanlines, such as that produced by arm-mounted laser scanners) optimizes point data in preparation for Points > Wrap by dispersing, adding, or deleting existing points to achieve a more uniform pattern.
The controls are:
Spacing - specifies the rough distance between points in the optimized point object. If necessary, dense points will be thinned to this spacing, or sparse points will be made more dense.
OK button - saves the optimized point object to the Model Manager and closes the dialog.
Cancel button - closes the dialog without saving the a modified point object.
Apply button - applies the configured Spacing to the point object in the Viewing Area.
Use Ctrl-Z to un-do and Ctrl-Y to re-do the effect of this function.
