A Plugin is separately installable software that adds functionality to a Geomagic product.
The purpose of a scanner plugin is to eliminate the need to import scan data into a Geomagic application. With the plugin, scanned data exists in the Model Manager immediately after the data capture process.
If all available plug-ins have been installed, the Plugin menu contains:
Minolta - the interface to a Minolta scanner.
Faro Scanning - the interface to a FARO scanner.
Laser Tracker - the interface to a FARO Laser Tracker X.
Perceptron - the interface to a Perceptron scanner.
Kreon - the interface to a Kreon Zephyr scanner.
