NURBS > Edit Corners and Boundaries repositions NURBS control points that form spline boundaries and corners (by clicking and dragging).
A editable point on a patch line is a set of three NURBS control points - one on the line and one on each side of the line.
A editable patch line intersection is a set of nine NURBS control points; one at the intersection, one on each of four intersecting patch lines, and one in each of the four intersecting patches.
The parameters are:
Scale radio button - When you drag one of the outer points of a set of three or nine, the points get closer or futher from each other. The following radio buttons control the exact behavior of this movement.
• for a Boundary (a patch line)
Proportional radio button - When dragged, points on each side of the patch line will move a distance that is porportional to the size of the adjoining patch.
Parallel radio button - When dragged, points on both sides of the patch line will move the same distance, regardless of the size of the adjoining patches.
• for a Corner (the intersection of patch lines)
Maintain Aspect Ratio radio button - the nine points get closer or futher apart, but maintain their relatives distances from each other.
Free-Form radio button - the nine points get closer or further from each other, and their relative distances can change.
Normal radio button - An arrow is superimposed on the selected patch line or corner. It indicates the normal direction of the selected points. Drag the arrowhead to modify the normal direction of those points.
OK button - saves the modified NURBS control points to the shape object and closes the dialog.
Cancel button - terminates the dialog without saving changes to NURBS control points
Reset button - restores the normal Angle to 0.00.
