Grids > Decimate Grids (applicable to regular grids, not space grids) maintains high grid density in patches with high curvature and lower density in patches with low curvature, resulting in simplified grids often with an unequal number of grid lines in each direction.
Grid Lines decimal field (default is the current number of grid lines per patch) - specifies a target number of grid lines per patch. Enter a number that is lower than the existing number, but greater than or equal to 8, then press Enter.
OK button - saves the decimated grids to the object and closes the dialog.
Cancel button - terminates the dialog without saving decimated grids.
Reset button - restores the Grid Lines field to its original value.
