Edit > Select Objects is a mouse-free method of selecting objects from the Model Manager. This allows a selection to be recorded in a macro.
The parameters are:
Select By radio buttons (Index, Name) - controls the order in which objects appear in the object selection area below.
Index - the same order as in the Model Manager
Name - alphabetically
Phase dropdown (Point, Point-Ordered, Wrap, Polygon, Curve, Shape, CAD, Result, World) - specifies the phase of the objects to be activated.
Objects selection area - is a list of objects that can be selected. Select one, or use Shift-Click or Ctrl-Click to select more than one.
To select like models while recording a macro:
Click Edit > Select Objects.
Choose a Select By radio button.
In the Phase dropdown menu, choose the phase of the models you wish to activate.
In the Objects list, select the model(s) you wish to activate.
Click OK to make the object(s) active and (assuming that a recording is underway) to record the activation in the macro.
