Edit > Select > By Edge Length selects all polygons or point cells whose longest edge is greater than or equal to a specified length.
The parameters are:
Edge Length (decimal field) - specifies the length that qualifies a polygon to be selected.
Define Edge Length by Selection (checkbox) - specifies that Edge Length will be defined by clicking points in the Viewing Area, not by direct input. When checked, the following are applicable:
Define First Point (radio button) - the next click of the mouse on the object in the Viewing Area defines one endpoint of line that specifies an Edge Length.
Define Second Point (radio button) - the next click of the mouse defines the other endpoint of a line that specifies an Edge Length.
OK button - terminates the dialog and leaves selected polygons or cells selected for further processing.
Cancel button - returns the object to its previous condition and terminates the dialog.
Apply button - selections take place immediately after an Edge Length is entered (or defined by clicking a line), so this button has no function.
