Curve > Edit Curves modifies an existing Curves Object by increasing the tension about control points.
Control Points - specifies the number of equally spaced points on the curve(s) that are not allowed to move; the number of endpoints of movable segments to which the Tension parameter is applied.
Tension - adjusts the tension on the segments between control points, affecting the overall smoothness of the curve.
Execute button - performs the curve edit operation based on the given Control Points and Tension. After you press Execute, use the mouse to highlight segments of the Curves object and apply the desired Display effects to those segments.
Display effects group - controls the appearance of the Curves object in the Viewing Area.
Tangents checkbox - displays lines that are tangent to the curve.
Circles checkbox - displays the largest possible circle that can touch the curve without intersecting it.
Curvature checkbox - illustrates the waviness of a curve.
Statistics group - contains information about the set of segments to which you applied the Display effects.
OK button - saves the modified Curves Object and closes the dialog.
Cancel button - terminates the dialog without saving changes to the CUrves Object.
