Curves > Resample Curves changes the number of vertices in a selected curve line.
After you select a curve, the current number of vertices appears in the dialog box. This amount can be reduced or increased, depending upon your need for detail.
Vertices integer field - specifies the number of vertices that will be evenly spaced on the curve line that is selected in the Viewing Area.
Clear button - removes the value from the Vertices field.
OK button - saves the resampled curve lines to the object and closes the dialog.
Cancel button - terminates the dialog without saving resampled curve lines.
Apply button - adjusts the selected curve line to contain the given number of evenly spaced vertices.
To change the number of vertices in a curve line:
Verify that all curve lines on the object have been projected onto the surface by means of Curves > Resample Curves.
In the Viewing Area, click the curve line you want to resample. The current number of vertices appears in the Vertices text box.
Enter a value in the Vertices text box.
Click Clear to clear the amount in the Vertices text box.
Click Apply to apply the resampling.
Click OK to accept the resampling.
