Contours > Resample Contours (selectable after Contours > Detect Contours and before any patches exist) increases or decreases the number of control points on a Contour line (yellow or orange).
Parameter group -
Vertices integer field - indicates and specifies the number of vertices on the currently selected Contour line. When you adjust the count, a preview appears on the selected Contour line in the Viewing Area.
Clear button - de-selects the Contour line that is currently selected in the Viewing Area (and restores its vertices to their original condition).
OK button - saves changes to the object and closes the dialog.
Cancel button - terminates the dialog without saving changes to the object.
Apply button - applies the Vertices count to the currently selected Contour line and prepares the the selection of another Contour line.
