Contours > Convert to Patches (available after Contours > Detect Curvature and before Patches > Construct Patches) converts every quadrilateral consisting of orange contour lines or red boundary lines into orange panel demarcation lines, and inserts a single four-sided patch into each panel.
Compare to Patches > Construct Patches, which intelligently subdivides panels (if necessary) to create a correct patch layout in each.
The controls are:
Mode group - specifies whether the function terminates if it finds an improperly formed panel.
Complete radio button - attempts to create a single-patch panel in every closed loop of orange contour lines or red boundary lines, but creates nothing if a single panel fails because of poor geometry.
Partial radio button - creates as many single-patch panels as possible, ignoring areas where orange contour lines and red boundary lines cannot form a panel.
OK button - saves the patch structure and closes the dialog.
Cancel button - terminates the function without saving single-patch panel(s).
