CAD > Delete Layer deletes a CAD layer (a set of bodies).
Layers group -
Body list - Click the name of one layer to delete, or click one and Shift-Click additional names.
Hide Others checkbox - removes all layers except the selected layer(s) from the Viewing Area so you can confirm which layer is which.
Delete button - deletes the selected layer(s) from the CAD object
OK button - saves the modified object to the Model Manager and closes the dialog.
Cancel button - closes the dialog without saving changes to the CAD object.
Deleted information will be stored in a .wrp file but not in any CAD file (.igs, .stp, or ,vda) that might be created later.
It is possible to avoid the loading of CAD layers when a CAD file is first opened. See File > Open.
