Preview Modified Blank & Part

To access this function right click on Edited Part and select Show from the Edited Blank sub item in the Layout Editing branch of the feature tree.  An image similar to the one shown below will open in a new window.  The imported part geometry and developed blank will be shown along with boundary lines overlaid on the part and blank representing the modified part and blank.

Any changes made in the Layout Editing Workbench will instantaneously be reflected on the image of both the part and blank.  The image will show you the effect of your changes to the shape of the blank and the part along the boundaries.  The outline will show you where you would have to modify the blank and the part geometry in order to realize the material savings achieved by editing the nest layout.

Export Modified Blank & Part

The modified part/blank boundaries can be exported as an IGES file by right clicking on Edited Part and selecting Export from the Edited Blank sub item in the Layout Editing branch of the feature tree.
