Major Strain

To view the plot right click on Forming Results and select Major Strain from the Formability menu to display a contour plot of the percent stretch (major strain) that occurs along the surface during forming. Clicking on the color gradient in the right hand scale will highlight regions of the part with the selected strain range and de-intensify the rest of the part. By clicking anywhere else in the Graphics Display Area, the original view with all the regions highlighted will appear again.
