Layout Constraints
Unless constraints are imposed, the coil width and progression will be calculated for the lowest cost. Otherwise, the resultant nest will be the best nest within the given constraint. You can define constraints on the Coil Width, Blank Angle and/or Pitch.
Coil Width: If the width of the coil is known prior to nesting, this information can be added as a constraints. If a fixed width is chosen, only the layouts with that width size will be shown. If a variable coil width information is added, only the layouts that fall with the min and max values will be shown.
The Coil Width Parameters are defined in the Nesting - Width dialog box. You can view the information in the Nesting - Width dialog box by right clicking on the Variable Width or Fixed Width branch and selecting Info. Similarly, to edit this information right click and select Edit.

Blank Angle: controls how the blank is rotated on the coil. If the rotation angle of the blank is known prior to nesting, this information can be added as a constraints. If a fixed width is chosen, only the layouts with that width size will be shown. If a variable coil width information is added, only the layouts that fall with the min and max values will be shown. You can define a Layout Angle or a Relative Angle.
The Blank Angle Parameters for the Layout Angle are defined in the Nesting - Layout Angle dialog box. You can view the information in the Nesting - Layout Angle dialog box by right clicking on the Variable Angle or Fixed Angle branch and selecting Info. Similarly, to edit this information right click and select Edit.
The Blank Angle Parameters for the Relative Angle are defined in the Nesting - Relative Angle dialog box. You can view the information in the Nesting - Relative Angle dialog box by right clicking on the Variable Angle or Fixed Angle branch and selecting Info. Similarly, to edit this information right click and select Edit.

Pitch: refers to relative distance between the blank shapes.
The maximum pitch between the blank shapes is defined in the Nesting - Pitch dialog box. You can view the information in the Nesting - Pitch dialog box by right clicking on the Maximum Pitch branch and selecting Info. Similarly, to edit this information right click and select Edit.
