The philosphy under AutoReport is: "create a report with one click". In order to generate an AutoReport you only need to click menuitem, to choose the output format and to specify the output filename.
More demanding user may want to customize the AutoReport, in Section B.7, "The AutoReport Options" you can find the options can be configured by the user.
