Select a single row with a left mouse button click on the desired row.
Select more than a row:
while holding the Ctrl key pressed, select desired rows for multiple selection.
to get a rectangular selection (i.e. a continuous range of rows) of rows:
start from the first row, keep the mouse button pressed and drag the pointer to the last row.
to select a range of rows, select the first row, hold Shift key then click the last row of the range.
select the upper row, while keeping the Shift key down, select the lower row of the range.
Select all rows by:
choosing from the main menu Edit | Select | Select All.
selecting the table and pressing Ctrl+a keys.
clicking on the upper left corner identified by the label "ID".
Select marked designs choosing the menu bar Edit | Select | Select Marked item.
Select unmarked designs choosing the menu bar Edit | Select | Select Unmarked item.
Rows can also be selected from the find dialog.
Toggle selection by:
choosing the menu bar Edit | Select | Toggle Selection.
pressing Ctrl+t keys.
modeFRONTIERTM can quickly put and remove the check signs in the "M" column on the designs tables. Marked design are automatically highlighted in the charts:
Mark or unmark a single design by:
clicking on the checkbox in the "M" column.
choosing Edit | Mark | Mark Selected or Edit | Mark | Unmark Selected from the main menu.
selecting points on charts.
Mark/unmark selected designs: after having selected the designs, choose Edit | Mark | Mark Selected Edit | Mark | Unmark Selected from the main menu.
Toggle mark sign: to toggle the sign in the "M" column for all the design in the table, select from the main menu Edit | Mark | Toggle Mark. This will unmark all marked designs and vice versa.
modeFRONTIERTM can also recognise and mark some special designs:
Mark Pareto designs (i.e. designs belonging to the Pareto frontier).
select from menu Edit | Mark | Mark Pareto Designs the appropriate voice to mark Pareto designs:
Only Real considers only real designs to find the Pareto frontier.
Only Virtual considers only virtual designs to find the Pareto frontier.
Real and Virtual considers both real and virtual designs to find the Pareto frontier.
Mark virtual designs (i.e. evaluated on the response surfaces).
select from the main menu Edit | Mark | Mark Virtual Designs to mark the designs that have been calculated using the response surfaces.
Mark unfeasible designs (i.e. break at least one of the constraints).
select from the main menu Edit | Mark | Mark Unfeasible Designs to mark the designs that break at least one of the constraints.
Note:
The Pareto Dominance definition:
A design belongs to the Pareto frontier if Pareto dominates all the other designs.
A design x strongly Pareto dominates y if for all objectives x is better than y.
A design x is Pareto optimal if no design y in design space Pareto dominates x.
A design y is Pareto dominated if there is at least a design x in the design space that Pareto dominates y.
Note:
Marking the designs belonging to a special group (like the Pareto frontier) will toggle all previously marked designs to unmarked.
