Render dialog

Shows a rendered image of the current part.

Select Entities - Check to choose which entities to include in the rendering process. Otherwise, all visible and valid entities are rendered.

Quick Render - Check to put an upper limit of 25 points in the U direction and 25 points in the V direction for any surface. If all the surfaces already have a low number of display points, this parameter has no effect (gaps may appear because of this).

Mode - Choose the rendering process:

Smooth - Reduces any surface facets, but is the fastest mode.

Phong - Shows spectacular highlights and so gives the most realistic image, but is the slowest to calculate.

Image Size - Selects the size of the rendered image. This can be a selected port, the entire screen, or a specified size in pixel dimensions. By default, the command displays the rendered image in a selected port, using the same viewpoint and size as the port.

Light Direction - Selects the direction of the light source from a list. These directions are with respect to the active CPL, so the rendered image is illuminated correctly in any view. Pick an appropriate combination of CPL orientation and light source direction to illuminate the part from any angle.
