Direction – Sets the spindle direction. If a tool is loaded from the ToolStore the direction is set automatically. If you have defined the tool “on the fly” you need to specify the spindle direction manually.
Gear - Separate gear ranges for the main, sub and driven spindles are possible. EdgeCAM automatically uses the appropriate gear range for the spindle being used. You can override the automatic gear selection by choosing a gear from the drop down list.
CSS - Activate constant surface speed. Subsequent speeds are entered in units per minute and the cycle dialogs will show the speed units. If CSS is not checked, RPM is programmed.
Max RPM – Specifies the maximum revolutions per minute for CSS.
