Use the Z Level Finishing cycle to finish surfaces in a series of XY profiles down the Z axis.
When using a Z Level cycle, note that:
EdgeCAM automatically places the toolpath on the correct side of the surface.
You can specify 2D geometry to represent islands. When generating the toolpath, the cycle automatically adds the tool offset to the geometry.
You can specify 2D geometry to represent toolpath boundaries. The toolpath will be clipped to the specified boundary, although lead in and out moves are allowed to go outside the boundary.
You can specify where you want the toolpath to start.
