Endmill – Using an endmill produces uncut steps of material. These steps can be reduced by making the Cut Increment parameter smaller for the cycle (although this will increase the machining time).

Ballnose – Using a ballnose  tool produces uncut cusps of material. These cusps can be controlled by reducing the Cusp Height parameter for the cycle (although this will increase the machining time).

Taper – You can use a taper tool to cleanly mill a pocket wall with the same angle as the tool.
