Lead moves are small movements added to the beginning and end of a cycle. These are to ensure that the tool does not start or finish the cycle in contact with the material. Otherwise, the tool feeds down into contact with the part and can leave a visible mark.
Angle In/Out - Defines the angle of an arc move.
Radius In/Out - Defines the radius of an arc move.
Length In/Out - Defines the length of a linear move.
For examples that show lead in moves with the effects of these parameters see Profiling Cycle Lead Moves.
Profile Extension Start/End - Specifies the amount by which to tangentially extend or shorten the start and end points of the selected profile.
Overlap - Specifies the distance the tool will overlap around a closed profile.
