Some cycles will leave material on the part because the tool’s size and shape stop it from cutting into narrow corners. ‘Rest Milling’ is a strategy within the Combination Finishing cycle that identifies and machines these missed areas using a smaller tool. The Combination Finishing cycle’s use of Surface Analysis Models makes it ideal as a cycle from which to use Rest Milling.

You can access the Rest Mill tab from the Combination Finishing cycle or Operation. Check Enable Rest Mill to activate Rest Milling.
