Potential Problems with Pocket Walls

All islands must be totally enclosed by a boundary.

Watch out for defining walls that cannot be machined, for example where the wall profiles actually intersect and cross over because of a sharp corner to the pocket boundary:

Note that the wall profile must be a continuous entity if it consists of more than one element.

Because of the sharp corners of the pocket profile, geometry has been created that cannot be machined in the corners:

You can reduce the effects of this problem by using dynamic billeting. Check the box for the Dynamic Billet parameter to create a continuous entity which defines the remaining material. This may be selected for a subsequent pass by a smaller tool.
