Clearance - The height at which the tool can move freely in the XY plane without encountering any material or fixtures. See also 'Associative' (Clearance) below. The tool moves between regions at the Clearance plane.
Associative (Clearance) - Check this for the Clearance value to be incremental from the highest point of the solid or feature you digitise. Uncheck this for the Clearance value to be absolute. Note this is only available with Model Type (in the General tab) set to Solid.
Retract - The height the tool returns to between plunges. This is incremental above the 'Level'. If left blank this defaults to the 'Clearance' value (above).
Level - The height at which cutting is to start. See also 'Associative' (Level) below.
Associative (Level) - Check this for the Level value to be incremental from the highest point of the solid or feature you digitise. Uncheck this for the Level value to be absolute. Note this is only available with Model Type (in the General tab) set to Solid.
Depth - The depth to which to machine. See also 'Associative' (Depth) below.
Associative (Depth) - Check this for the Depth value to be incremental from the lowest point of the solid or feature you digitise. Uncheck this for the Depth value to be absolute. Note this is only available with Model Type (in the General tab) set to Solid.
Cut Increment - If it is not possible to machine down to the full depth in one plunge (perhaps due to swarf build up), you can specify a cut increment value. In this case the machining advances as a series of flat floors, each floor being a cut increment below the last.
Minimum Pocket Depth - Pockets less than this value in depth will not be machined. Use this to 'filter out' pockets unsuitable for plunge roughing.
