The Pencil Mill cycle creates a curve where two edges form an internal angle. The modifier that controls the internal angle is called the Detection Angle (and can be found on the Advanced tab of the Pencil Mill dialog). You may override the default value (150 degrees) if the cycle has found too many or too few curves. The cycle will issue an error if a value is entered outside a valid range (90 - 180 degrees).

Note that a large angle could produce erroneous curves where the surface model is ill defined.
