The Lead parameters affect the start and end of each toolpath stripe. Gouge detection automatically removes any parts of the toolpath that gouge the part.

Angle In - Enter the included angle of the radius applied to the start of the toolpath stripe (0 < Angle In <=90). If the radius has not been entered, the Length modifier will be used.

Angle Out - As above but is applied to the end of the stripe. If Constant Cut has NOT been checked (Lace cutting), the Angle and Angle out parameters are switched on alternate passes, so that each end of the cycle is consistent.

Radius In - Enter the value of the radius used at the start of each toolpath stripe.

Radius Out - As above but applied to the end of the stripe. If Constant Cut has NOT been checked (Lace cutting), the Radius and Radius out parameters are switched on alternate passes, so that each end of the cycle is consistent.

Length In - Enter the value of a linear lead in onto the start of toolpath stripe. If a radius has been specified, the tool will lead onto the arc at a tangent.

Length Out - As above but applied to the end of the stripe. If Constant Cut has NOT been checked (Lace cutting), the Length and Length out parameters are switched on alternate passes, so that each end of the cycle is consistent.

Slope - Choose how to apply the lead in/out to each stripe:

Tangential - Sets the lead in/out angle to be at a tangent to the start/end vector of each individual toolpath stripe.

Horizontal - Sets the lead in/out angle to be parallel to the XY plane. This may mean that the specified radius is not tangential to the start/end of the toolpath stripe.

Apply To First Cut Only - Check to only apply the lead in parameters to the start of the first toolpath stripe. No other toolpath stripe will have lead in/out parameters.

Apply To Last Cut Only - Check to only apply the lead in parameters to the end of the last toolpath stripe. No other toolpath stripe will have lead in/out parameters.

Cut to Boundary - Check to extend each toolpath stripe to intersect the outer boundary. The Length In modifier can be used to specify the stand off distance for the tool at the start of the cycle.
