Facemilling dialog - Lead tab

Lead moves allow you to control how the tool approaches and leaves the material.

All leads are checked against the part and any gouging leads are removed.

Percentage Feed

The feedrate for lead moves is specified as a percentage of the feedrate on the General tab.

Apply To

Only available with Mill Type (General tab) set to Optimised.

Make a selection of 'All Cuts' or 'First And Last Cut', to specify how leads are to be applied.

Equal Lead Moves

Check this box to use the moves for Lead In and Lead Out.

Lead In/Out

Angle	The length of the arc section of the lead move, as a subtended angle.
Lead Radius	The radius of the arc section of the lead move.
Lead Length	The length of the straight line section of the lead move.
