The Facemill cycle machines a specified rectangular area in a lace cut pattern with a given stepover.
You would typically use this command to prepare the surface of the workpiece ("blocking up") with large endmills or slab-cutters before using any other machining operations.
Facemilling can machine any rectangular area.
Once you have entered the parameters for the cycle, you are asked to digitise the start, direction and end point for the cycle (see below). Note that the start and end digitises define the corners of the rectangular area to be facemilled.
