Type - Select the method used to generate the analysis model:

Automatic - Used on surface models where the "holes" and/or sides have not been defined (unnecessary for manufacture) and the model will find the top and bottom extends of the model. This option should only be used in cases where the model has not been completely defined.

Male - Used on surface models where the analysis model meets with the bottom plane on the outer edge.

Female - Used where the outer walls are not to be selected for manufacture and therefore are not included in the analysis model.

Specify Plane - Restricts the analysis to areas either above or below a set level, using the Analyse Below Plane and Z Level parameters.

Analyse Below Plane - Only available when Type is set to Specify Plane. Check this box to restrict the analysis to a region below a level set using the Z Plane parameter. If the box is unchecked and Type has been set to Specify Plane, the analysis is confined to the region above the specified level.

Z Plane - Only available when Type is set to Specify Plane. Specifies the level of the plane.

% OverSize- In some situations, for example where the tool is large compared to the model, the analysis model will not allow the current tool to move into particular regions around the edge. Specifies the percentage increase in size of the model to accommodate the tool.
