Coord Input - (Only available when editing the cycle). Allows you to modify the cycle start point, the offset side and/or boundary entities by digitising new positions.
Strategy - Select the combination of cycles to be used:
Parallel Lace/Z Level - Flat or shallow regions are detected and machined using Parallel Lace. The remaining regions are machined using Z Level Finishing.
Z Level/Parallel Lace - Alternatively, machine all steep regions first with Z Level Finishing, followed by Parallel Lace for the flatter regions.
Perpendicular Lace - Use two Parallel Lace cycles to machine the part. The first cycle machines the flatter areas, while the second cycle machines the steeper regions, cutting at right angles to the first cycle.
Boundary Collapse/Z Level - Flat or shallow regions are detected and machined using Boundary Collapse. The remaining regions are machined using Z Level Finishing.
Z Level/Boundary Collapse - Alternatively, machine all steep regions first with Z Level Finishing, followed by Boundary Collapse for the flatter regions.
Feedrate - Specifies the rate of movement in the workplane.
Plunge Feed - Specifies the rate of movement in the direction of the tool axis.
Speed - Specifies the tool spindle speed.
Offset - Specifies an offset normal to the surface. Any negative offset may not be greater than the tool's corner radius, as this would generate an incorrect toolpath.
Tolerance - Specifies the maximum deviation of the generated toolpath from the selected surface.
Feature Name - Enter a name here to allow labelling of digitised information for this cycle to enable "pickup" of this information in another (similar) cycle.
% Stepover - Specifies the tool stepover distance between each pass as a percentage of the tool diameter.
Cut Increment - Specifies the depth of each successive cut. This must be a positive value. The cut increment value sets the vertical distance between successive waterline planes.
Maximum Cusp Height - The Maximum Cusp Height value, Flat/Steep Angle and the tool geometry are used to calculate the %Stepover and Cut Increment automatically.
Constant Cut - Check to cut each pass in the same direction. The cycle retracts the tool between each pass to ensure this occurs. When the box is unchecked, the tool will alternate the cut direction on each pass.
Bottom to Top - Check to cut the lowest level first and work upwards.
Mill Type - Choose either Climb or Conventional milling.
Angle - Specifies the angle between each pass and the X axis of the Initial CPL.
Unbounded Primary Cycle - (Perpendicular Lace strategy only) Check this option to allow the primary toolpath to machine the entire model first. The secondary toolpath then machines the steeper regions.
