Load Names - Check to load the IGES file together with any data on the names associated to each entity.
Close Open Surface Boundaries - Check to automatically close any open surface boundaries before loading the file (some sending systems can produce trim surface boundaries that are not closed, due to tolerance effects).
Surface Boundaries - This controls how you can load surface curve data from the IGES file. Select from:
Sender's Preference - Loads the file with the preference set by the sender of the IGES file.
Parametric (u,v) - Loads the file using any available parametric u,v surface data.
Model (x,y,z) - Loads the file using any available model x,y,z surface curve data.
Conversion Tolerance - Problems with the loading speed of IGES can be caused by the relationship between the units of some IGES entities and the EdgeCAM system tolerance. In these cases you can use the conversion tolerance to override the system tolerance to ensure that the file is loaded correctly. The default value for the conversion tolerance is the system tolerance value that is specified in the defaults file.
