You may have created the geometry for turned parts in a third-party CAD system using XYZ co-ordinates. EdgeCAM uses the ZX environment for C and Y axis milling, so you need to switch the co-ordinates in the part from XYZ to ZXY.
Use this command to map the co-ordinates of selected entities from one co-ordinate plane to another.
Transpose - Specifies the initial and destination co-ordinate planes.
