Use this dialog to rotate one or more entities (including solids). You can also rotate stock and fixtures.
Any toolpaths associated with the rotated geometry will also be transformed (on regeneration), but user defined start and end positions will not be retained.
Note that you cannot rotate detailing entities, except for text entities created in the Top CPL.
If the geometry has toolpaths associated to it, these are updated when you regenerate. However, user defined start and end positions will not be retained.
On
closing the dialog you are prompted to (free) digitise a point to be the
centre of rotation, then
the entities to rotate. In addition, if you did not specify any 'X', 'Y'
or 'Z' values you are prompted to digitise two points (true 3D points,
not CPL-based), and the angle of rotation is the angle between the points
measured from the centre of rotation.

Copy |
Check to leave the original entities in place. Uncheck if you only want the rotated versions. |
|
Fixed Orientation |
Check to keep the rotated entities in their original alignment. See an illustration... |
|
X, Y, Z Rotation |
The angle to rotate through in degrees. |
|
Repeats |
The number of times to rotate the entities. |
|
Layer |
The layer on which to place the new entities. |
