When digitising cycle input, you can now opt for the tool to be shown on the cursor for free digitises only.
Use Options menu ► Preferences ► Selection tab and check the new Free Picks Only preference.
For entity digitises, the tool will now be hidden, so you have an unobstructed view of the part geometry.
The preference always applies - when only entity digitises are possible, or when both free and entity digitises are possible but you are using the Ctrl key (for example) to force an entity digitise.
