Temporary Grouping of Materials

You may need to do this when using tooling manufacturers that are not listed on the Standards tab or using different groupings to those specified on the Standards tab. The unfortunate side effect of this method is the loss of material supplier information.

1. Move to the All tab and select the three very hard materials that we have created.

2. Press the Edit button on the right-hand side of the panel to open the Global Edit dialog.
   
   

3. Enter a supplier name such as "Very hard materials". Repeat this process with the medium materials and enter a supplier name of "Medium materials".

4. Now click on the Filtering Materials button on the right-hand side of the panel. Select the appropriate supplier.

5. Press Apply to see the very hard or medium materials. Press OK to close the filter dialog.
