To generate and display a rendered image of the current part

  1. Select the Render command. The system displays the parameter input window for the command.

    (As standard, this command is not  is not present in the user interface, so you will need to add the a button for the command to a toolbar or menu of your choice. The command is in the View category.)

  2. Specify the required parameters.

  3. Select OK when satisfied with the parameters.

  4. Digitise a port from which to take the viewpoint (if multiple ports are displayed).

Here is an example part as seen in the Isometric view (Port 7):

If you selected Port under the Image Size parameter, this is also the port in which to display the rendered image. You may continue to select ports to render until you perform a finish. In each case the viewpoint is also taken from that port. If you chose to save the rendered image, only the first port image is saved.

The rendered image is now displayed.

Once the rendered image is displayed, a further dialog box provides the option to Print, Save or Cancel the display of the rendered image (this does not appear if you selected multiple ports).
