Installing the Device Driver on Windows 2000 Professional/Windows XP

1. Start Windows 2000 Professional/Windows XP and Login.

2. Select Run from the taskbar.

3. Specify \lservers\drivers\win_nt\setupx86.exe from the EdgeCAM CD-ROM and click on OK.

A window with the title ‘Sentinel Driver setup Program’ is displayed

4. Select ‘Functions’ and then ‘install Sentinel Driver’ from the Menu bar.

A dialog box with the default path for the NT driver is displayed.

5. Change the drive letter if necessary and select OK.

6. The Sentinel driver and associated files are then installed, and you will be prompted to restart your computer for the changes to take effect.

7. To verify that the driver has been installed, or if you wish to remove it, repeat points 2 and 3 and select either ‘Configure Sentinel Driver’ or ‘remove Sentinel driver’ as appropriate from the ‘Functions’ menu.
