Working with Part Properties

EdgeCAM parts (.ppf part files) have some:

• Properties that you cannot edit - the 'SavedInVersion' property for example.

• Properties you can edit to store useful information - the 'Keywords' and 'Comments' properties for example.

To access the properties:

1. Click the File menu and click Properties.

2. Work with the properties in the Properties Window.

Note that these properties:

• Are available for access in data management systems such as Autodesk Vault, when you archive the part file in the system.

• Are accessible via Windows Explorer; right-click on the part file and select Properties.
