You use this tab to assign shortcut keys to commands.
Shortcut keys are combinations of keys that you press simultaneously to
quickly perform a command.
To use the tab:
Click in the Category
box and in the subsequent list click on the command's category. Click
All Commands if you are not sure
what this is.
(You don't need to set 'Set Accelarator Key for', as this is always
'Default'.)
In the Commands list click the command.
Review the current shortcut keys in the Current Keys box.
If you want to create or change the shortcut keys click in the Press New Shortcut Key box and press your key combination. Combinations typically include the Ctrl key and/or the Alt key. Watch out for the 'Assigned to' indication that tells you if the combination is already in use (you can re-assign the combination if you want). You can keep trying new Combinations (release all the keys then before pressing the new combination) if you want to find an unused one.
Click the Assign button.
