Using the Thread Operation

  1. Click on the Thread Operation Thread Operation command icon button.

  2. Digitise the line to be threaded. The operation will start at the end of the line closest to your digitise.

  3. Complete the dialog box for the operation.

  4. Click OK.

EdgeCAM now generates the toolpaths for the thread operation, including any moves to position the tool.
