Use the Tool Graphics toolbar in EdgeCAM to save data to a .csv file,
change between environments or return to the ToolStore.
From left to right the toolbar offers the following commands:
Save Tooling Graphics – Save current data to .csv file(s).
Define Cutter Graphics – Change to Cutter graphics environment
Define Shank Graphics – Change to Shank graphics environment
Define Holder Graphics – Change to holder graphics environment
Move Holder Graphics – Specify a new position for the Holdergraphics CPL. If coordinate input is used it will produce a position relative to the current CPL. Thus in the Holder environment the move will be a relative move from the existing offset but in the Cutter or Shank environments a new "absolute" offset is specified.
Go to ToolStore – Save current data
to .csv file(s), close EdgeCAM and return to the ToolStore.
Notes
The stored offset is always relative to Shankgraphics CPL irrespective of how the position of the Holdergraphics CPL was defined.
If coordinate values for the CPL are entered, for milling a Y value is required. For turning X and Z values must be given.
