Purging removes obsolete report pages from the reports 'Location' folder and all its sub-folders, and ensures that all current report pages are up-to-date.
With System menu ► Job Reports enabled, job reports are automatically purged; whenever you change job data for example. (The act of enabling also triggers a purge.)
With large databases or busy networks, this may degrade performance. This applies in particular if changes are made to a tool entry that has been used in a number of jobs.
To avoid this disable System menu ► Job Reports.
You can now manually purge using System menu ► Purge. Alternatively schedule the operating system to run (for example):
C:\EdgeCAM\cam\JobManager.exe /purge
