Job Reports

You can create web-based (HTML) job report pages.

You control these by the right-clicking on the Job Manager (or ToolKit Assistant) window title bar and using the Job Reports ► options, as detailed below:

View

Opens the reports Welcome page from the 'Reports Location' folder (see below) into your web browser. (On a PC without EdgeCAM just use the web browser to open this page directly.)

Purge

Removes obsolete web pages and ensures that all pages are up-to-date. All .html files in the 'Reports Location' folder and its sub folders are deleted. New up to date files are then created. See Notes on Purging Job Reports.

Reports Location

The root folder for the job reports pages. For safety reasons you cannot select the root of a filing system, such as 'C:'. The Windows Start button ► EdgeCAM Job Reports option opens the report pages from the Reports Location (as does the 'View' option above).

Specify shared network locations using a full network address such as:

\\Server1\reports\Jobs

or a mapped drive such as:

Z:\jobs ( where Z: has been mapped to \\Server1\reports )

Templates Location

Select the folder containing the report template pages. Make sure the template pages are not in a subfolder of the 'Reports Location' root folder (or they will be liable to be purged).

As installed, the templates are in:

installation folder\Cam\TStore\Reports\Templates\

If you know HTML you can customise the format of the reports by editing the templates.

Marked Jobs

Opens a dialog for managing the ‘Marked’ jobs list. The jobs in this list are placed in a separate report page, that you can access from a link in the main job reports Welcome page.

Messages

Use to create links to email addresses, web pages and documents on the reports Welcome page. The 'Subject' is the text of the link.

Enable

Enables job report creation. This automatically purges the job reports.
