To start to simulate the toolpath, in the Simulation toolbar at the bottom right of the EdgeCAM window, click the Play button.

You can control the speed of the simulation by moving the lower of the two sliders at the bottom of the EdgeCAM screen, left to slow down and right to speed up.
The top slider shows the progress of the simulation.
