When you insert the EdgeCAM CD, the dialog shown below opens. (If you have disabled Autorun, the dialog will not appear; run setup.exe from the \edgecam folder on the CD.)

Install EdgeCAM CAD Link
This option installs a facility for launching EdgeCAM from a range of CAD systems, such as Autodesk Inventor and SolidWorks. The open work in the CAD system is loaded into EdgeCAM.

Install EdgeCAM Part Modeler
EdgeCAM Part Modeler is licensed by the EdgeCAM security key.
You can also run it for a 30 day evaluation period without a license, so that you can test it in your own working environment. Tutorials are included under the \partmodeler\tutorial folder on the EdgeCAM CD.
