NetHASP – Loading the Network License Server as a Windows Service

1. Run lmsetup.exe from the \Security Key\Network License Servers\NetHASP\install folder on the EdgeCAM CD.

2. Select the U.S English language option and then Next

3. Select Next on the Welcome dialog

4. Select the Service (nhsrvice.exe) option

5. Accept the Program Group name and select Next

6. Select Yes when asked if you want to install the HASP Device Driver

7. Select Yes when asked if you want to start the HASP License Manager now.

8. A confirmation dialog will be displayed stating that the service has been successfully installed. Select Finish.

9. You will be asked to reboot the PC to complete the installation and start the service.

10. After the reboot, the License Server will now run as a Windows Service and broadcast the availability of EdgeCAM licenses until either:

c) the PC is shutdown

d) it is manually stopped. See Configuring the Network License Service
